
We are off and running as we gather a team of ADVENTURERS once again and journey away. Our goal is to discover more about the adventure of Kingdom Mission and explore where God is at work - specifically in NICARAGUA!
Nicaragua is a beautiful country, the largest central american country with a population of 5,666,301. Over 1,500,000 are under the age of 14. Nicaragua has survived a 2 year civil war in the late 70s and was hard hit by Hurricane Mitch in 1998 which has weakened infrastructure.

mestizo (mixed Amerindian and white) 69%, white 17%, black 9%, Amerindian 5%
Religions:
Roman Catholic 58.5%, Evangelical 21.6%, Moravian 1.6%, Jehovah's Witnesses 0.9%, other 1.7%, none 15.7% (2005 census)
Languages:
Spanish (official) 97.5%, Miskito 1.7%, other 0.8% (1995 census)

And so the adventure begins...
We plan to prepare for this adventure from September 2011 until March 2012. Our journey in Nicaragua will begin March 8th, 2012 and end March 18th, 2012. We will travel to managua the capital and then stay in the San Marcos Area at the Skylark Centre which is a part of Threefold Ministries.
